REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• A relevant degree in an IT related field
• Analysis / Documentation
• Migration / upgrading
• SQL in the Cloud and Hybrid Environment
• Performance and tuning
• Backup, recovery and high availability
• Security management
• Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)
• Scripting / Automation
• Data integrity and quality assurance
• Support the use of Power BI
• Build core data services that departments could consume
• Experience with Local Government
• Experience with Agresso FMS

• Assess the SQL environment in terms of legacy SQL versions and devise a path to upgrade. Documentation is required.
• Assess the SQL environment in terms of SQL configuration, backups and recovery processes. Documentation is required.
• The resource will conduct a thorough analysis of the financial system databases (Agresso) and make recommendations to ensure the system operating at the optimum level. Documentation is also required.
• Manage and implement improvements / enhancement so the SQL environment.
• Devise test plans to include scripts, user support, training, projectplans with a back out plans.
• Provide support and advice relating to all SQL requirements on an ongoing basis
