Description:

An opportunity has arisen for 2 x Senior Staff Nurse Band 6.
As the nurse in charge, you will liaise with members of the multi-professional team both within the department and beyond, to promote effective communication and to ensure high quality care is delivered to the patient both effectively and efficiently.
You will also be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care in the ward setting and Minor Injury Unit.
The post will consist of day and night shifts with weekend cover and the opportunity to gain community experience.
Previous experience and knowledge of minor injuries and illness is essential.
An Island Living Allowance of 5% of the salary will be paid to any successful applicant resident on the island.
