Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Staff Nurse (SSN) is part of the ENGAGE (Engagement and GP Empowerment) Programme. This is a pilot programme that aims to build a robust General Practitioner (GP) support and referral network by upskilling GPs in their competency to manage non-emergency paediatric conditions. The duties included:

  • Serves as a clinical role moder and resource person on clinical problem solving for the programme
  • Collaborates with Nurse Clinician/Programme Lead(s) to design, plan, improve and implement ENGAGE.
  • Work with Nurse clinician/Programme (Lead(s) to plan and justify for resources needed to meet funder’s expectations and aligned with the Division’s stategic and business objectives.
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal relationship with internal and external stakeholders of the programme
  • Assist in interpret, implements and evaluate programme’s procedures, protocals and practice guidelines
  • Gather and evaluate feedback on clinical attachments from GPs and clinical assistants to improve the partnership and skill require in the community
