Description:
Care and preparation of children undergoing plastic surgery or maxillofacial surgery. Care and support of Children with burns injuries in the outpatient dressing clinic. Support of parents whose children are undergoing surgery. In charge shifts, ensuring the appropriate allocation in relation to skill mix and patient needs, escalating concerns in real time to management and working together to formulate plans to overcome difficulties.
Leading shifts, team working, problem solving, supporting junior staff, responsibility for own link role. To facilitate workflow and communication within the ward team and larger MDT
