Description:
OVERVIEW
Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Production Engineering Team. The position entails ensuring the consistent operation and reliability of the IKS (Intuit Kubernetes Services) Platform across Intuit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining IKS clusters hosting Intuit flagship products of TurboTax, Quickbooks, Mailchimp, etc and Intuit Platforms like Identity, API Gateway, etc. They will be involved in all aspects of IKS cluster deployment, configuration, optimization and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must have expert knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, troubleshooting tools and automation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with a focus on programming or equivalent work experience.
- Proven expertise in building, upgrading, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- 10+ years of experience working in production engineering, building and managing large-scale systems on AWS.
- 10+ years of solid development experience in building RESTful services using Go, Python, Java/J2EE (Spring, MVC, and Hibernate), and/or NodeJS. Candidates with experience in open-source development will be preferred.
- Experience with the development of applications and services in AWS, leveraging native cloud services and APIs.
- Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Springboot, React, and DynamoDB.
- Experience in using java unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AWS CloudTrails, and Micrometer.
- Experience working in Java and Linux environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
