Job Introduction
Sodexo Live! is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Staffing Co-Ordinator to join our team at Ascot Racecourse. This role will involve working closely with the HR team, based at the Racecourse to plan Raceday and event labour and ensure that we have exceptional teams to deliver an outstanding Guest Experience.
You will be responsible for effectively planning and forecasting labour requirements for racedays and events, ensuring staff are accurately scheduled in line with productivity initiatives and budgetary constraints. You will also be tasked with driving labour consistency and return ratios across multiple accounts, acting as the staffing lead for events, and developing strong relationships with casual worker agencies
Ascot Racecourse is a destination for over 500,000 guests each year where passion, elegance, and celebration converge, and it is our team of behind-the-scenes heroes that bring every intricate detail to life.
As one of the world’s leading racecourses, Ascot is renowned for its rich heritage spanning over 300 years. But we are not bound by the past; we’re driven by the pursuit of excellence in everything we do.
From hosting our flagship event, Royal Ascot, to pioneering sustainable practices, we are committed to building a Global lifestyle brand, wrapped around the world class horse racing we run.
At Ascot we believe in preserving the beauty of our surroundings and minimising our ecological footprint. From eco-friendly initiatives to community engagement programs, we strive to make a positive impact on both the environment and the lives of those around us.
To deliver the optimum service to a venue that is like no other, and exceed our client’s vision and expectations, our employees must be trained to a standard that not only allows them to efficiently deliver high quality service and contributes to the overall guest satisfaction, providing an elegant, original and uplifting experience for all guests.
We’re experience makers and food fanatics. Our experiences are unique, and so are our people. Bring personality, your background and your desire for delighting others. In return we’ll give you all you need to thrive. Because at Sodexo Live! we’re so much more. Be part of something greater.
We take pride in our commitments to make a positive change for now and future generations to come, whether through our Diversity and Inclusion strategy and training programmes, our award-winning ‘Racing To Zero’ sustainability actions, or our forward thinking employee benefits including flexible working and menopause policies, as well as health and EAP support access.
