ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an innovative & collaborative Senior Storage Support Specialist to join our Core Technology Services (CTS) portfolio! Our group is continuously investing to deliver exceptional services in a world-class organization where automation is combined with best practice to streamline and standardize products as well as improve the speed of delivery for Canada’ Central Bank.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Network & Storage Services, you will join a team of 12-15 members recognized for being diverse and inclusive and for being a dynamic team focused on being digital, ready, and resilient.
Additionally, you will also have many opportunities for career development - both inside and outside of the portfolio. You will have the support of your leader to become a mentor (or a mentee), enhance your skills, experiment, and drive your career in many ways (certifications, labs, architecture, leadership etc.).

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Your combined education and work experience demonstrate that you have the proficiencies and skills for the role. We are ideally seeking candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Language requirement: English or French essential
• Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
• Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Secret

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Senior Storage Support Specialist, you will provide level 2-3 ongoing technical support, maintenance, and improvement to the Bank’s current storage environments. You will also help us support and evolve our “Software Defined Data Centre”, built on highly scalable hyper-converged systems of storage, network, security, compute, all enabled through code. Your mindset is to minimize infrastructure customization while being well versed in the merits of what CTS can already offer.
