Description:
WHAT DOES THE SENIOR STOREPERSON DO?
Our Distribution Centre Storepersons are involved in everything from unpacking and receipting goods, picking, packing, and dispatching orders, forklift operation, and ensuring our network gets their stock and quality service delivered on time!
Working closely with the DC Manager, this diverse role will see you get hands on with various project work and assist with DC operations, including stepping up and taking the reins from time to time by looking after the DC and supervising the team when required.
Key functions:
- Pick, pack, & dispatch orders
- Unload pallets & trucks
- Keep documentation up-to date and accurate
- Check and process inwards goods
- Check inwards goods for incorrect supply, damage, and under/oversupply
- Partake in regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and stock replenishment
- Be proactive in keeping the Warehouse clean and tidy (including OH&S)
