ABOUT THE TEAM

As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will lead strategic priorities in the Retail sector reporting to the Senior Director of Retail Vertical Growth as part of the Global Enterprise Go-to-Market function. You will work closely with a wide array of global and regional teams including Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance. Together with the existing team, you will help plan and develop long-term goals and strategic objectives to continue to position Worldpay as a thought leader in Retail and grow the vertical globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a plan to win for the retail vertical, across our priority markets in NORAM, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
  • Support and develop the Worldpay value proposition to define our right to win in each sub-vertical of focus.
  • Coordinate and help drive execution of strategic commercial initiatives to grow the Retail vertical.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate the sales team on new products, features, and market-specific considerations.
  • Support regional sales teams on various ad-hoc tactical requests including customer meetings, RFPs, and target lists.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in target countries.
  • Represent Worldpay at conferences, events, and meetings to promote the company’s global presence and understanding of trends impacting the Retail industry.
  • Identify market trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential new markets for Worldpay’s products and services.
  • Evaluate market readiness and potential demand for Worldpay’s offerings in each target country.
