JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Director, Data Protection and Security Strategy, the primary accountability of this role is to provide a diverse range of strategy execution, analytical, coordination and communications support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership on key Board and Client narratives, reporting deliverables, and re-occurring Council and forums. The candidate will also have a focus on internal advisory, strategic thought partnership, and planning and strategic support to our leaders within Security, Risk, and Crisis Management (SRC). The incumbent with liaise with security and technology teams to build a comprehensive, strategic, and evolving three-year fluid view for SRC and contribute to shaping and driving the strategic evolution of security tools and services.
The Strategy Specialist’s main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and deliver cyber security narratives and updates through executive-level communications, reporting and presentation material.
- Support Technology and Corporate strategy in articulating our cyberscurity progress and strategic direction.
- Oversee the coordination of Security Council, Business Unit Risk Committees and other relevant forums (CISO Forum, Cyber Security Working Committee).
- Lead the development of global security strategy focused on three-year view of emerging technology while aligning with the security program and initiatives.
- Lead the development of micro-strategies and business cases for future strategic investments and return on investments (ROI).
- Collaborate with multiple technology teams within architecture, Engineering, and strategy teams to outline future roadmaps, initiatives, and project outcomes.
- Support key proof of concepts, product evaluations, and build business case for emerging technologies and capability sets.
- Provide mentoring to more junior members of the immediate team
