JOB DESCRIPTION

As a senior structural design engineer, you will be involved in the design of infra-structure type of works (mostly Marine related). The department itself is involved in large and smaller projects locally and worldwide. In all our design activities we strive for an economic optimum where constructability plays a crucial role in our concept selection. Creative thinking together with your colleagues and our clients is very important. Our designs are performed according to the Industry Standards and within the agreed boundaries of quality, schedule and costs.

• Design and analysis of Marine Structures (reinforced concrete, steel design, ship-shore design and some geotechnical affinity),
• Discuss your designs with the project manager where you put forward technical advice,
• Mentor/ coach less experienced colleagues on the project,
• Support the drafters and BIM modelers to ensure the drawings and models comply with the design and specifications.
