JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural engineering and be adept at utilising various engineering software tools. This role involves designing and overseeing the construction of structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and meet all regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in project management, collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience in structural design and analysis within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Mathcad.
• Strong mathematical skills with an emphasis on system design principles.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

• Design and analyse structural systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Utilise engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Mathcad for drafting and modelling purposes.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop effective system designs.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project proposals and submissions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
