EXPERIENCE TO SUCCEED

10+ years of experience within exterior and interior along with a strong foundation in design and engineering principles. (Experience in OEM is preferred, depending on the ability to ease the number of years required).
Experience using Catia V5 for design and engineering applications
Experince using Teamcenter for data management and collaboration
Demonstrated experience in automotive or similar engineering environments, ideally with a background in package validation and cross-functional team management.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our design team, the Senior Studio Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the development of new vehicle programs, from initial concept engineering to detailed package validation. This position requires strong expertise in data and team management, along with experience in both interior and exterior package validation. The role will involve extensive collaboration with the engineering and design teams across multiple locations, including daily coordination with our Chinese engineering counterparts.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting into the Chief Studio Engineer this role will be responsible for:
Interior Package Validation: Ensure that the interior package aligns with Technical Input (TI) and Feasibility Check (FC) documents, and support validation efforts.
Exterior Package Validation: Ensure that the exterior package aligns with TI and FC documents, and manage verification processes.
Collaboration with Chinese Engineering Team: Attend and assist in daily meetings to maintain alignment with the Chinese engineering team, ensuring seamless communication and project progress.
Cross-Functional Support: Facilitate collaboration between UK Design, LEVC China’s Design and Engineering team, and the LEVC Ansty Engineering team.
Data Management and Integrity: Oversee Teamcenter data management, ensuring accurate data availability for designers, modelers, and the wider design team.
