JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and passionate Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional hair styling skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. Your role will also involve assisting with front desk operations and contributing to retail sales through effective upselling techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Experience in front desk operations is a plus, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
• Knowledge of retail sales practices, particularly in upselling beauty products.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon environment.
• A valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
• Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and grow professionally.
• Have been in the beauty industry for 4+ years.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $15.20-$36.17 per hour
  Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

• Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to clients’ preferences.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on hair care products and services.
• Promote retail products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and seamless client experiences.
