Description:
Role: Senior Supervisor GMP Warehouse, Permanent.
Direct Report: to VP Head of Logistics UK.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Fridays, days.
Salary: starting from £48,000 pa, dependant on skills and experience, excellent benefits package plus annual bonuses

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supervisor GMP Warehouse to work within our Logistics Team.
Key Responsibilities or Core Accountability:
- To ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner and that all equipment and racking is regularly checked and complies with Safety Legislation
- Changing gas cylinders, refilling liquid nitrogen containers
- Support of regular warehouse supplies, warehousing, picking and internal distribution, returning of goods
- To ensure the warehouse ERP system is accurately maintained in terms of stock quantity, location.
- Material Resource Planning for >400 inventory parts & >15,000 SKU’s
- Shop floor management with daily morning meetings
- Carrying out monthly stock-takes
- Invoice and query management to assist Purchasing & Finance
- Provide support on other duties when required
- Physical Transfer of stock within Milton Park sites
- Maintain Good Housekeeping in the warehouse and assist with 5S implementation within the department.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Must have experience with Warehouse ERP Systems preferably SAP
- Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Leadership capabilities to assign work for daily running of warehouse.
- Ability to assess, correct & prevent inefficiencies within warehouse.
- Shop floor management experience
- Previous warehouse operations experience, ideally in laboratories/ pharma
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications specifically Excel / willingness to improve knowledge and apply to daily workload.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and reliable
- Proactive approach to work with the ability to problem solve issues.
- Positive attitude towards continuous improvement projects.
- Knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
- Counter balance, VNA, Reach License
- IATA/ADR certification
- Experience and knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Driving License.
