QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years’ recent and related experience. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets experience
  • Netsuite experience preferred

  • Proven success in implementing new processes in procurement, inventory management and supply chain
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, set priorities, multi-task and work with minimal direction
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationship skills and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, vendors, suppliers and others
  • Demonstrates initiative, judgment and adaptability; takes a solution-based approach to problems and resolves problems quickly and effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Understanding and knowledge of the telecommunications industry preferred

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager of procurement, this position is responsible for developing and implementing new supply chain processes, managing inventory, shipping and receiving as well as overseeing vendor relations, including price negotiations and sourcing.

  • Develop and implement processes and strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the procurement team.
  • Implement and manage the process of returning goods, including handling returns, repairs, recycling, and disposal, to minimize costs and maximize recovery.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all logistics operations.
  • Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and support decision-making.
  • Review and execute client hardware orders; coordinate timelines and delivery dates with client or Service Delivery team members.
  • Work with iTel Vendors to secure the best price, terms and conditions
  • Maintain and update vendor profile and process documentation, purchasing tools, distribution, and price lists
  • Source and onboard new potential vendors.
  • Prepare shipments, create waybills, manage documentation and invoices.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with various couriers.
  • Track and receive equipment, ensure incoming shipments meet order specifications, record information and place in inventory.
  • Resolve order discrepancies and manage merchandise return processes.
  • Maintain inventory levels and forecast future inventory needs.
  • Perform regular inventory audits, count merchandise in stock and post totals to inventory records.
  • Assist with refurbishing and preparing hardware for redeployment.
