Today we manage over £1.5 billion worth of contracts on behalf of the 4,500 Subway stores across Europe. THE ROLE …

The Senior Sustainability Manager, will own IPC EMEAs sustainability strategy, driving our sustainability goals and supporting Franchisee profitability and competitiveness.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing sustainability strategies and delivering meaningful reductions on IPC EMEAs impact on the planet. They will be a skilled influencer and will be experienced in setting targets to reduce impact, measure and report progress up to c-suite level.
Knowledge of food, packaging and equipment sourcing and supply chains is desirable.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR …

• Developing and delivering the IPC sustainability strategy
• Setting meaningful and measurable targets for resource reductions (water, CO2, packaging etc.)
• Working with internal IPC team to ensure activity is delivered
• Seeking new opportunities to drive Franchisee profitability
• Owning the relationship with Subway and ensuring our strategy aligns with the Subway sustainability strategy, ensuring they understand the supply chain and commercial impact of any policy decisions
• Reporting progress against targets and projects to Leadership Team and IPC Board on a quarterly basis
• Working with external consultants to ensure were compliant with relevant waste and packaging legislation from a supply chain perspective
