Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Senior Syndicate Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the key objectives of the Finance Department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring internal timetables, reviewing instructions from Lloyd’s, producing financial statements, and assisting in the production of regulatory returns. You will also be expected to respond promptly to queries from auditors and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders. Your technical expertise in UK GAAP and FRS will be crucial in ensuring that Financial Statements are produced to the highest standard.
- Monitor and update internal timetables as tasks are completed
- Review instructions from Lloyd’s and implement changes where necessary
- Produce financial statements for Lloyd’s entities
- Assist in the production of regulatory returns for Lloyd’s including QMA, QMB, QSR/QAD, Trust Funds returns, and UKGAAP returns
- Respond to queries from internal and external auditors
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Apply technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS to ensure high-quality Financial Statements
- Prepare accurate statutory and regulatory reporting outputs
