ABOUT THE JOB

Overview We’re seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to architect, deploy, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure for our Tether Data Division. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a security-first mindset.

A suitable candidate should be credible and exhibit

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience managing mission-critical systems with 99.99% uptime requirements
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Proven track record of incident management and resolution
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Strong security, threat detection and mitigation experience

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-availability infrastructure solutions at scale with hundreds of servers

  • Orchestrate deployments and updates across our infrastructure

  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance
  • Conduct internal security audits and implement hardening measures
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members

5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems administration

  • Strong expertise in:
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Container orchestration (Docker/Podman)
  • GPU container optimization and management
  • Virtualization platforms (QEMU/KVM)
  • Network architecture (VPN, SDN, Load Balancing)
  • Security practices and infrastructure hardening
  • NodeJS application deployment and scaling
  • Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / Github CI)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Version control systems (Git)
  • Usage of FIDO2 and Yubikeys for server administration
