Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer. This role requires a deep understanding of Windows environments; competency in Azure VMs, storage, and networking; proficiency with MSP-specific technologies; and an experienced background in client-facing project work and systems automation. IT security experience is preferred. The Senior Systems Engineer looks for opportunities to address and reduce internal technical escalation through process, automation, and training our team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AZ-104 Azure Administrator certification or equal practical experience
• MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator certification or equal practical experience
• 15+ years supporting Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure
• 5+ years supporting Microsoft Cloud Systems (Azure, Office365, Sharepoint, etc.)
• 15+ years working with server, network monitoring, and security applications
• 15+ years supporting security, malware and antivirus software
• 15+ years executing network design, troubleshooting, and administration (LAN/WAN/VPN/SD-WAN)
• 15+ years experience supporting business continuity practices and procedures
• 15+ years experience supporting and troubleshooting on-premise virtual environments (VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Prior MSP experience required
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred

• Administer Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, maintaining secure and efficient access management.
• Architect, administrator, and troubleshoot Azure virtual machines and networks.
• Lead client-focused IT projects, delivering solutions that meet requirements.
• Resolve challenging internal and client-facing technical issues, evaluating and implementing effective solutions.
• Address internal Level 3 escalations with expert problem-solving skills.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) plans.
• Uphold systems and network security standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through certifications, trainings, and participation in industry events.
• Implement systems automation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to achieve organizational goals and provide an excellent client experience.
