Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibility:

• Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site
• Document incident report on the system and network performance
• Ensure security compliance, conduct patching, health check & hardening remediation
• Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Performing standard or project change request as per change window.
• Responsible for applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes

Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience
• Experienced in Firewall /network product such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki and Check Point
• Experience in supporting Private/Public Cloud Scripting /Automation
• 24x7 standby on rotation basis

Technical Experience:

• Experience in network/security administration in enterprise DC and Public Environment
• Able to support various firewall /network products such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, CheckPoint, Sophos, FortiGate etc.
• Experience in troubleshooting system, middleware and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues, analysing system logs and identifying potential issues/incident

Certifications:

• ITILv3 Foundation
• Cisco Certified Network Professional OR
• Cisco Certified Network Associate
