Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

As the Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you will have substantial contributions to the successful execution of AIR6500 Integration program by working with the broader AIR6500 team to develop Integration artefacts for the AIR6500 solution, performing defect analysis and conducting informal and formal Integration for a program.

Additional responsibilities will include;

  • Contribute to the agile development of complex technical solutions, including the design and development of test automation and support software
  • Identifying & performing root cause analysis on defects at all levels of the System of Systems
  • Set-to-work, support, maintenance & monitoring of the Integration Environments
  • Implement and maintain configuration management of the Integration Environment (including hardware, software, scripts, automated test artefacts, IAC artefacts, etc)
  • Support Physical Configuration Audits of the Integration Environments when required
  • Implement, execute and maintain the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using processes and tools
  • Analyse, design and implement System Integration Thread Tests, automating where possible, in accordance with System Thread design artefacts

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate sound knowledge of Defence Test & Evaluation, and experience working within a large delivery team and delivering successful outcomes, along with;

  • Strong ability to apply experiential judgement and lateral approaches to complex problem solving
  • Substantial experience in the set-to-work and maintenance of an Integration and/or Production Environment, including ICT, hardware, software, scripts, automated test artefacts, IAC artefacts, etc
  • Substantial experience at Integration & Test of software, components, subsystems and systems
  • Working knowledge of modern tools and methodologies used to implement a CI/CD pipeline, including virtualisation technologies (VMWare, Linux KVM) containerised solutions (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) cloud native solutions / CNCF Landscap
