Description:

Overview:
Quartz is seeking a Sr. Systems Programmer Analyst to join our IT Applications and Development team! This position will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex software systems, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. The individual will analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize functionality while collaborating with stakeholders to implement upgrades and enhancements. Projects will involve complex coding and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business and IT to design solutions that meet business needs
  • Assess project feasibility, define scope, estimate costs, and determine resource requirements for new and existing application software systems
  • Develop technical specifications and perform application analysis, design, coding, and other complex programming tasks from general requirements
  • Document new and updated systems, including procedures and manuals
  • Design, build, test, secure and deploy solutions in Salesforce and MuleSoft Cloud Hub
  • Integrate on-premise, third party and cloud applications
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance requirements
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the work product from both a technical and business acumen and successfully transfer the knowledge to other system programmers in a manner that allows staff to fully support the work product
  • Provide day-to-day application and administration support for a wide range of applications and systems
  • Performs and manages software upgrades working closely with stakeholders and vendors
  • Maintains accurate log entries of contact with resolution details and follow-up information
  • Identify issues/causes and devise procedures to solve complex problems
  • Communicates issues, enhancements, and implementations to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Develop policies and procedures that allow for efficiencies in supporting work products
  • Assists, directs, trains and coordinates the work of less experienced systems programmer analysts
  • Leads and assists in introducing new, relevant technologies and making recommendations to management/business that include benefits and cost analysis
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed (after hours, nights and weekends
