Our opportunity
As Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant (Construction - Buildings) you will have shared responsibility for the provision of a full range of Talent Acquisition services across the Mirvac Group. As the functional expert, you will be required to deliver effective end to end recruitment and provide quality advice and support to hiring managers, candidates and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
End to end recruitment supporting Construction roles and other divisions as required.
Leading continuous improvement activities to meet stakeholder needs and ensure Mirvac maintains effective recruitment and selection processes.
Developing and effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders and external TA suppliers to ensure Mirvac derives expected value from the business relationships.
Integrating Diversity and Inclusion strategies into TA activities to support the achievement of company targets.
Provide interpretation, coaching and counsel to managers in the business in relation to TA planning and decision making.
Ongoing regular reporting against agreed targets.
Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to meet business and demographic requirements.
Using available tools and resources to ensure ‘cultural fit’ for new hires.
Actively supporting HR projects where necessary.
Centralised management of CWs and contractors for BU’s including offer creation.
Your point of difference
You will have significant experience recruiting Construction roles coupled with strong stakeholder and candidate management skills. You will have the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships, influence others and on an individual and group level deal with and resolve conflict constructively to reach practical solutions.
You will have a good knowledge of current Australian employment legislation as they relate to recruitment and ‘Employer of choice’ talent acquisition practices.
We are open to considering candidates from both internal and agency, your understanding of building construction will be critical to the role.
