At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting IT, Finance, Legal, HR, and various Corporate hiring. You will go beyond transactional tasks and take on creative opportunities to refine and improve our recruitment process, interview skills, and sourcing strategies. Your critical conversations on market trends and compensation issues will contribute to our success. This is a high-volume, full-life cycle recruiting opportunity within our multifaceted organization.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience with a high school diploma will also be considered.
EXPERIENCE
- 8 or more years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
- Proven success with direct sourcing methodology and internet sourcing.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in crafting sourcing maps and strategies to find specialized talent in software engineering, IT, Technical, Corporate, and R&D functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering speedy response time and follow-up.
- Experience managing time and workload optimally, whether working onsite or remotely, including recruiting for remote locations.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in competency-based interviewing techniques.
- Strong analytical and consultative skills, enabling you to serve as a talent advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with geographically dispersed Hiring Managers and HR to develop recruiting strategies and execution plans that meet the demands of our growing business.
- Engage in discussions with managers to understand hiring needs and priorities.
- Improve the quality of job descriptions to attract top talent.
- Use different channels, such as making direct calls, searching online, and networking, to find and cultivate a diverse range of potential candidates.
- Conduct interviews and effectively close candidates.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with business leaders, delivering on commitments and providing exceptional customer service throughout the hiring process.
