As a Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll lead complex assignments, collaborate with junior accountants, and work directly with our clients to provide expert tax guidance. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-level tasks, advise clients on sophisticated tax strategies, and set a standard of excellence within our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for clients.
  • Oversee and prepare various tax returns, including 1040, 1040NR, FBAR, 1120, 1120S, 1120F, 1065, and 5471.
  • Review and process incoming financial documentation such as such as bank statements and client documentation.
  • Facilitating clients to ensure they are complying with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned.

  • Must be comfortable reading, writing, and speaking to clients about tax accounting matters in both English and Spanish.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation and 5+year experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Tax Programs
  • Advanced level of English & Spanish
  • Prior experience preparing complex tax returns and corporate tax filings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience working in a CPA or Bookkeeping firm
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience working with UltraTax CS
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or active pursuit of certification
  • Experience in Tax Preparation
  • Experience working for a US-based Companies
  • Demonstrated experience with tax planning and advising for multinational clients
