Description:
THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- CA or near CA qualified who has solid Australian tax experience in a large corporate, Big 4, or second tier professional services firm
- Four or more years of experience in Australian tax (specialising in income tax)
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge (or better) of SAP or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to pro-actively develop, engage with, and to train junior staff
- Planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team which is spread out between Sydney, Melbourne and Asia.
Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the DXC Australia New Zealand (“ANZ”) tax team, focusing primarily on income tax, GST and FBT compliance for Australia, New Zealand and Fiji but also including some involvement with ad-hoc issues of an advisory nature. Reports directly to the APAC Tax Director who is based in Sydney; however, this role will also support an ANZ Tax Manager in Melbourne.
