Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Sr. Tax Analyst position. As a Sr. Tax Analyst, you are responsible for reporting, compliance, controversy, and planning associated with corporate taxes.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision work papers and build expertise in ASC 740 requirements
- Manage income tax account reconciliations and tax entries with the accounting department
- Preparation/review of book-to-tax differences for members of the consolidated group
- Coordinate preparation of the consolidated federal income tax returns
- Preparation and review of Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865 for Controlled Foreign Corporations
- Preparation and review of various separate company and combined/unitary state income tax returns
- Review of quarterly estimated tax payments
- Preparation and review of other filings such as Foundation returns, Foreign Bank Account Reporting, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors Degree is required. An advanced degree and CPA is a plus
- 3 - 5 years of federal and state income tax and tax provision experience is required; public accounting experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, technical, and technological skills; work well with other members of a team and possess excellent communication abilities and intellectual curiosity
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required; knowledge of OneSource tax provision and compliance software is a plus
