We have UK Facilities/offices in Alloa, Elland, Bedford, East Kilbride London. As well as employees-based UK wide within Customer sites.

Requirements: The Company is seeking to recruit a Senior Tax Analyst to support the development of the Tax function and meet the needs of the growing business.
The successful candidate will report to and support the Head of Tax, playing a pivotable role in the Group Tax department. The role will deliver essential support in meeting the tax needs of the businesses and our Group.
The role is best suited for a highly collaborative candidate, driven by delivering strong quality solutions to meet the needs of our customers. The candidate should also have a passion for continuous improvement (of self and processes), systems automation and motivated by the idea of contributing to an effective tax function.
This role may be eligible for hybrid working, in line with company policy and on agreement with line management.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS EDUCATION:
- Professional Tax and/or Accounting qualification desirable
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong accounting and tax technical knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with highly experienced business and tax professionals.
- Flexible mindset and willingness to embrace change and develop new areas of expertise
- Strong organizational skill and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Highly proactive self-motivated, able to work well in a team and on own.
- Strong Excel analytical skills.
- Preparedness in a small central team to “roll-up sleeves” to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Head of Tax in preparing and reviewing tax packages for year-end Group Reporting purposes.
- Prepare the tax calculations for quarterly Group Tax Reporting
- Assist with preparing tax disclosures for UK companies for year-end reporting purposes.
- Work with the accounting team and outsourced tax providers to manage the corporation tax return compliance requirements across the Group including assistance in reviewing the UK corporate tax returns.
- Manage the Group Transfer Pricing documentation process including liaison with the outsourced providers and assist in the review of transfer pricing documentation and agreements.
- Support the Head of Tax in managing tax audits across the Group
- Support the Head of Tax with value added initiatives and tax planning
- Assist the Head of Tax with ad hoc advice to the business on a wide range of topics including VAT, Employment tax, Withholding Tax Customs duties.
