Committed to delivering high-quality solutions tailored to meet our clients’ unique needs and challenges, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing tax compliance and advisory services to our corporate clients, reporting to the Tax Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Studies in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- SCTP accreditation will be added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory services.
- Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using Singtax software (for corporate tax).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to a portfolio of corporate clients in diverse industries.
- Handle corporate income tax compliance work for a portfolio of clients, including public listed companies and SMEs. This includes preparation of income tax computations as well as Form C tax returns.
- Respond to tax queries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) regarding clients’ tax matters. This may involve lodging Notices of Objection with the IRAS when necessary.
- Work on ad-hoc tax advisory projects such as cross-border tax advisory, group restructuring, and tax due diligence projects as assigned by management.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the tax team.
