Job Description:
Department
The Tax Department is responsible for ensuring that the EDFT group meets its tax compliance requirements in the jurisdictions in which it operates, and provides support and advice to the business and other support functions as appropriate.
Position purpose
Interim role: The Senior Tax Consultant will be responsible for providing support to the EDFT group in relation to all transfer pricing matters including advisory projects, operational implementation, compliance and reporting. Additionally, the Senior Tax Consultant will identify opportunities to streamline and/or automate existing transfer pricing processes as part of a wider tax department automation project.

Main responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for the business and external advisers on cross-border transfer pricing matters – this is expected to comprise a mixture of project work and ad hoc requests
  • Manage the update/preparation of transfer pricing documentation taking into account recent legislative changes
  • Ensure that implementation of new intercompany arrangements is consistent with transfer pricing policies
  • Work with external advisers to update benchmarking studies
  • Provide support on transfer pricing aspects of the direct tax automation project to include Pillar 2, CBCR compliance processes
  • Project manage the overseas outsourced compliance process for EDFT’s overseas subsidiaries
  • Monitor transfer pricing developments for sharing with the wider direct tax team

Experience required

  • Significant transfer pricing experience gained from either professional services or an in-house tax team
  • Experience implementing operational transfer pricing solutions
  • Strong project management experience
  • Educated to degree level with a relevant tax/transfer pricing qualification

Hours of work:
8.30am – 5.30pm / 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE
