JOB SUMMARY :

HEYSARA ACCOUNTING PTE. LTD. is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Executive to join our tax team in Singapore. The Senior Tax Executive will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, providing tax advisory support, and driving tax efficiency within the organization. You will also play a key role in managing tax risks and developing strategies for local and international tax matters.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, including income tax, GST, withholding tax, and other relevant filings in Singapore.
  • Assist with corporate tax planning, tax advisory, and strategic tax initiatives to ensure tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) regulations and guidelines.
  • Handle tax audits and resolve any tax-related disputes with IRAS and other tax authorities.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of new tax legislation and regulatory changes in Singapore and globally.
  • Provide ongoing tax support for business operations, including mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border transactions.
  • Review and manage the transfer pricing documentation for intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare tax provision calculations and tax-related disclosures for financial reporting.
  • Advise senior management on complex tax issues and assist with tax optimization strategies.
  • Work closely with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal teams to address tax matters.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field (ACCA, CPA, or Master’s in Taxation preferred).
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Proficient in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other departments and senior management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
