Description:

With the rapid and fast paced evolution of tax legislation and the growing complexity of global tax regulations, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Professional to join our Global Tax team. The team consists of 9 highly skilled employees, four of them working from our Head quarter in Lynge.

YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to navigating the complexities of international tax. We are looking for someone who is not just knowledgeable but passionate about driving results in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A relevant university degree in accounting, finance, or tax (e.g., cand.merc.aud., cand.merc.jur., or cand.jur.)
  • Experience in audit, finance, or tax, with a strong foundation in Danish corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting. Familiarity with international corporate taxation is an advantage
  • While direct experience is valuable, we welcome candidates who have a demonstrated interest in corporate taxation and are eager to grow in this field

Responsibilities:

In this role as Senior Tax Professional, you will get an exciting opportunity to join the WSA journey and not only help ensuring that our organization meets its tax obligations but also be an integrated part of strategical decisions in terms of taxes across our global operations. Furthermore, you will get to play a key role in the process of getting WSA IPO ready.
As a Senior Tax Professional, you will become a key player in our global tax team, collaborating with colleagues from around the world on diverse aspects of national and international Corporate Tax matter. Your contributions will be vital in helping WSA navigate the complex tax landscape, ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and the group’s tax policies and strategies. You work will be done in close collaboration with and overseen by Senior Tax Manager, Niels Nyborg.

You will assist the Senior Tax manager on the following:

  • Strategic Tax Filings: Take responsibility on Denmark’s Joint Tax Group filings, including precise calculations of interest limitations, to ensure full compliance and strategic efficiency
  • Tax Provisions & Reporting: Accurately calculate tax provisions for Danish entities, contributing to the integrity of our annual financial reports
  • Audit Management: Oversee and manage tax audits within WSA, working closely with external advisors and local management to ensure smooth and successful audit processes
  • Compliance Leadership: Ensure that our organization consistently meets its tax obligations, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and Group Tax policies with a proactive approach
  • Global Tax Insight: Stay ahead of developments in international tax legislation and operations, providing critical insights that impact WSA’s global tax strategy
  • Risk & Decision Analysis: Analyze the tax implications and financial risks associated with business decisions, offering clear, data-driven recommendations to guide our leaders
  • HR Partnership: Collaborate with HR to review and advise on tax-related matters, ensuring that templates and agreements for independent contractors and other employment arrangements are tax-compliant and beneficial
  • Tax Due Diligence: Act as business partner and trusted advisor to our M&A-team on tax Due Diligence and integration projects
