Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) are seeking a Senior Technical Lead (Infrastructure and Security) to play a pivotal role in optimising and enhancing the security and technical infrastructure life-cycle at LPC, for an initial 12-month fixed term role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Proven experience in optimising technical environments and delivering successful IT projects
- Proven expertise in Cyber security planning and implementation
- Understanding of the NIST framework
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management process
- Certification in relevant technologies would be a plus (e.g Azure, AWS, PMP)
- Experience in analysing technical reports and identifying improvement opportunities
- Strong networking knowledge would be desirable

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of LPC’s information systems services through proactive technical oversight and championing new technology, while fostering collaboration with stakeholders and demonstrating technical excellence. You will be involved in actively managing LPC’s server infrastructure lifecycle, working with external and internal stakeholders to remove technical debt, and actively manage cyber security initiatives and provide security thought leadership to LPC.
