As they embark on an exciting new phase, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to join their dynamic team and drive the successful delivery of 3 key projects.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in managing external teams and suppliers remotely.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of video delivery and media solutions is a plus but not essential.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to take the helm of a critical phase one delivery programme, consisting of three core projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that their deliverables are met on time and within budget. You will be responsible for managing the programme, overseeing the work of external engineers, and providing fortnightly updates to senior management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Programme Management: Lead and manage the phase one delivery programme, ensuring all objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Team Coordination: Oversee the work of a product owner and a team of engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration across multiple functions.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential risks, call out issues such as scope creep, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
- Documentation: Ensure all processes and progress are well-documented to avoid any miscommunication or delays.
