Description:
AS A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER AT ARUP, YOU WILL:
- Lead the Arup Multi-discipline teams in the Technical Assurance of Client Requirements across a broad spectrum of Airport Technology Projects
- Work with our Clients and Contractors in the successful delivery of complex Projects
- Manage the flow of information between Stakeholders, Design Team(s) & Contractors
- Responsible for the delivery of Project Deliverables in line with Programme
- Maintain Project Brief, Project Execution Plans, Records, Reports and Manage the smooth flow of information throughout the team
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of support teams, identifying key deliverables in line with Programme Schedules
- Work with the Senior Management Team to develop future Project Opportunities with new and existing Clients.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Technical Project Manager to join the Arup Aviation Team in Dublin.
The Senior Project Manager role will form part of the Senior Management Team and lead the successful delivery of Technical Projects for our Clients both in Ireland and Overseas. The Senior Technical Project Manager will play a key role in the leadership of some of our larger Projects, working with both Clients and Contractors to ensure the successful delivery of complex Projects in line with Program timelines.
We have an immediate need for this SPM to lead on the Passenger Screening Upgrade project in Dublin Airport – in this exciting project will manage the design development and delivery of the next generation of Bag Screening technology, enabling an improved passenger experience (removing the need to remove liquids and electronics!) whilst further enhancing Security credentials - This project will be ideally suited to a senior PM with good IT knowledge, will be client and contractor facing

- Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree
- Experience in the roll out and integration of next generation technology into live operational environments
- Experience managing scope, schedule and budget on multiple projects
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills within a large project team environment.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing activities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, team working, communication, problem solving and presentation skills
- Strong independent judgment and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of the different forms of Contract and experience in Contract Administration under different contract types
- Experience of Project Management / Project Delivery within the Aviation/Transport Industry would be considered advantageous
