DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of developing technical reports that demonstrate product capability or compliance to standards.
  • Strong technical skills with sound knowledge of foundational engineering concepts.

  • Strong commitment to product safety and quality, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Technical understanding of powertrain systems
  • 6Sigma and/or Lean methodologies knowledge and experience

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Caterpillar’s Emissions & Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) Group is accountable for interpreting, communicating, and leading the enterprise to a strong position of global emissions and power systems regulatory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements, and related technology requirements, and understand application of same to Caterpillar products.
  • Follow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements.
    Degree Requirement: Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or qualified by relevant job-related experience.
