Responsibilities:
Jotun Powder Coatings is looking for a dedicated Senior Technical Support Specialist to support the Sales team by offering technical advice/technical service. Technical documentation and complaint handling will also be part of the role. Moreover, there is an important focus to conduct and track technical training externally using the standardized training materials and global standards to ensure correct use of products and accurate technical advice.
This position will be based in Dubai and will be reporting to the Technical Service Support Manager of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the Sales team in increasing sales growth and market share by reviewing existing and new Jotun products with existing or new customers
- To help resolve complaints by conducting on-site investigations, following up with Quality Control and local Research & Development departments, analysis of possible root causes and providing relevant documentation to support the conclusion of the specific claim
- Share learning and knowledge from complaint cases by documenting corrective actions taken and their effects to limit future occurrence of similar claims and reduce Jotun’s risk exposure
- To assist in conducting professional applicator plant audits and training through technical visit program (example - Jotun Approved Applicator, Jotun Powder School) to ensure that specified quality standards in application and product specifications are adhered to
- Assist with customer’s plant improvement projects by undertaking product development trials at applicators’ facilities, ensuring customers benefit from Jotun’s innovative products
