Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Bilingual Senior Technical Support Specialist to join J.S. Held’s information technology division, that supports its accident reconstruction practice. Our accident reconstruction practice uses advanced modeling and simulation software programs to generate computer visualization, and utilizes in field electronic data recovery tools to evaluate and reconstruct vehicle accidents
The successful candidate will provide technical support and troubleshoot various software and hardware systems that the practice uses in their day-to-day analysis. They will also ensure the computers and software are properly configured when new employees are onboarded within our complex tech footprint. This role involves reactively and proactively addressing technological issues (hardware and software) of the teams in the office and in the field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in a similar support role handling different types of systems of different technical complexity.
- Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and managing software services such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Autodesk applications, and specifically the updating, upgrading and compatibility of these software titles with each other and other mainstream products.
- Strong knowledge of virtual desktop environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar disciplines.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience managing a large number of devices.
- Experience with onboarding and exits in a complex tech environment.

Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide heightened, near real-time support for troubleshooting software, data storage systems, laptops, and other technical issues.
- Manage integrations, configurations, updates and changes to different systems including Microsoft, Adobe, and Autodesk program suites.
- Effectively onboard new employees ensuring all the required systems are functioning correctly.
- Reactively and proactively address issues related to in-field laptop and software support.
- Handle tasks of varying degrees of importance and complexity in software and hardware troubleshooting, software compatibility, and integration of new or upgraded software version.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address threats and vulnerabilities.
