About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Test Analyst to take responsibility for testing deliverables for both projects and ongoing business operations within Transurban’s Digital Platforms in Victoria.
This role involves hands-on testing, occasional test lead responsibilities for Digital streams, and proactive participation in enhancing Transurban’s test automation capabilities.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Assist the Test Lead and Test Manager in providing accurate estimates for all project testing activities across Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Provide inputs into overall Test Strategies.
• Create Test Plans and manage the delivery of test plans (as required) in accordance with Test Strategy / Transurban governance framework.
• Create Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data based on Project / BAU requirements or agreed Test Targets.
• Create and support Test Automation team with the creation of Test Harness, Stubs, Test Data for all test types.
• Identify potential test issues and developing corrective action plans.
• Ensure Testing produces the highest quality of Platform solutions and key risks, defects, performance gaps are highlighted and mitigated.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

• Knowledge of Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency in testing tools and technologies such as ALM, JIRA/Confluence and TOSCA.
• Cross-browser testing, Adobe Experience Manager CMS, iOS and Android API testing, Postman
• Strong background in software testing across all levels.
• In-depth experience in SDLC/STLC.
• Extensive integration testing experience with third parties and co-dependent systems
• Testing expertise in complex integrated platforms (Onboarding, Transactional, Customer & Billing, Payments) or similar technologies.
• Defect management experience.
• API testing experience with proficiency in XML and JSON data inputs.
• Mobile application testing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent reporting skills.
• Tertiary education in Computing, Engineering, Science, Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
