TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

· Experience with performance testing tools (eg, JMeter, LoadRunner), CI/CD pipelines, and ISTQB certification.

SAS IS LOOKING TO ADD AN EXPERIENCED SENIOR TEST ANALYST TO OUR TECHNICAL TEAM. YOU WILL BE THE TEST ANALYST ON CURRENT AND FUTURE PROJECTS FOR EXISTING AND NEW CUSTOMERS. YOU WILL HAVE THE FREEDOM TO HELP GUIDE NEW PRACTICES AND OFFERINGS. YOU MUST BE DRIVEN AND ABLE TO WORK TO CUSTOMER AND INTERNAL DEADLINES WITHOUT ADDITIONAL SUPERVISION.

There are currently no day-to-day operational, managed service or on-call requirements.
My client is an awarding winning organisation who is seeking a skilled and experienced Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining their platform architecture to ensure the reliability, and efficiency of their systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust and reliable platform services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test Planning and Strategy: Lead test strategies for functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Test Design and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and scripts, both manual and automated, while rigorously identifying and resolving defects.
• Test Automation: Partner with the automation team to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring efficient and scalable testing practices.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with developers and analysts, mentor junior team members, and promote a quality-driven culture.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare test plans, reports, and metrics, providing clear insights on progress and BI quality outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of testing practices, staying updated with the latest tools and trends.
• Environment Management: Ensure optimal test environments in collaboration with development and operations teams.
• Post-Release Support: Validate production functionality and share insights for ongoing improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in software testing, with expertise in manual and automated testing.
• Specialist Knowledge: Experience with London market specialist insurance is essential.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with tools like Selenium, QTP, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Quality Centre.
• Knowledge of SDLC and methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Programming or Scripting experience in Power BI, Data Bricks, Java, Python, JavaScript, or SQL.

Able to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced team
