DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WORK TASK TO BE CARRIED OUT

• Strong testing background (at least 5 years of experience with testing automation including regression testing).
• Good programming skills (Java/Selenium/Cucumber/Playwright) with adherence to Clean Code standards.
• Working knowledge of version control systems (preferably bitbucket).
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins integrations and regression testing mechanism.
• Very good familiarity with software development life cycle.
• Expertise knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (Independence and creativity in delivering solutions to improve automation).
• Experience with Test Case Management Tools (qTest)
• Expertise knowledge about testing REST services.
• Fluency in English since this role requires a lot of communication with English-speaking parties all the time.
• Skills and initiative to understand the application business domain and work creatively alongside.
• Proactive approach and proposing improvement areas.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking will be additional asset.

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Design and develop test cases in the area of regression testing including API testing and “corner cases” scenarios
• Identification of improvement areas in the area of regression testing.
• Implementation of automation regression testing in CI/CD pipeline including implementation of monitoring tools like Grafana
• Configure and maintain test environments according to the development requirements.
• Document and track defects in test management system.
• Execute tests with the goal to release hardware and software in a defined time and quality metric.
• Perform and assist in high-level and low-level test pipeline design.
• Work with Quality Assurance Team, Product Management, DevOps Team and Customer Support to exchange ideas and information vital for the product’s success.
