WHAT WE NEED

We are looking for a Senior Test Development Engineer to join our System Test team within our Hardware organization. Your job will be to collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to design, integrate, and validate test strategies, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining software tools for EOL testing, establishing methods to measure and stimulate robot performance, and acting as a subject matter expert on EOL testing while working closely with suppliers and quality assurance teams. Additionally, you will develop diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and address hardware and software issues.

System Test is responsible for all aspects of test planning and execution, from early-stage new product development initiatives to continuous improvement of our products in the field. Every improvement, idea and invention you make gets tested and quickly implemented because our solutions are already in use by some of the nation’s largest retailers. We solve important global challenges that involve technology, business, science and logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership across engineering teams to develop, innovate, and continually improve product design.
  • Lead development for the mobile robot diagnostic and repair application.
  • Collaborate with other development teams and product managers to breakdown requirements, design solutions and execute on business requirements.
  • Perform and guide activities such as design and code reviews, identifying improvements to software quality, performance, and integration tests.
  • Lead implementation of complex designs within the team and partner with others to develop cross functional features.
  • Develop procedures, training plans and debug decision trees for manufacturing test technicians.
  • Collect and analyze product performance data to refine test criteria and improve test methods.
  • Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum based environment.
  • Demonstrate passion about building high quality software, love solving problems and facing new challenges.
  • Analyze a system of distributed software components using performance, profiling, and debugging tools.
