Reporting to the Test Manager, this is both an internal-facing and customer-facing role to support the quality and test, and administrative requirements of the Project Delivery and Service organization, initially in support of our major projects.

Location: Manila, Philippines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Work experience in different phases of testing such as integration, regression, and pre-user acceptance testing
• Exposure in testing API, desktop application, web and mobile systems
• Working knowledge on automation testing is an advantage
• Deep understanding of software testing including best practices and processes
• Have experience in Agile-Scrum and Waterfall development life cycle
• Working knowledge on any test/defect/content management tool (JIRA, confluence) is a plus
• Exposure in service support operations is a plus
• Can work with minimum supervision either as team player or individual contributor
• Fluent in English with excellent written documentation and oral communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of Computer Science or any related field
• At least 5 years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience

• Analyse business and technical requirements
• Provide test effort estimates
• Write Test Plans and supporting documentation
• Create Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Design and develop test cases and test scripts
• Able to quickly adapt and learn to write automation scripts using selected tool
• Perform quality testing of software applications
• Detect, raise and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Participate in Defect triage and review meetings.
• Analyse and documents test results, reports and related metrics
• Report test progress internally and externally
• Able to plan risk-based testing approach or devise a test strategy for the assigned task
• Able to suggest and help implement test document, tools, and process improvements
• Able to provide assistance and guidance to teammates on test processes and best practices
• Coordinate with the Business Analysts/Infra/Development teams when needed
• Participate in Project Meetings
• Prepare and present project or test-related reports or presentations to internal and external customers
• Perform project incident management tasks until incident resolution
• Perform other test/support-related tasks when deemed necessary
