DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our program team. The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, debugging, and defining corrective actions. The role involves close interaction with the project team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, UAT).
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
  • Experience in performance and/or security testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute manual and automated tests for new and existing features.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on product specifications.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in test processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
