POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Total Rewards team at Boston Scientific are responsible for the research, design and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and programs to support the organisations strategic objectives. We are hiring a Senior Total Reward analyst for a 12-month defined term; the focus of this role is compensation, the scope is the EMEA region and as a member of our Team you will play a key role in shaping our employee experience through design of competitive compensation packages, analysing market trends and developing strategies to attract and retain top talent. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a global network on Total Reward analysts within Boston Scientific and the chance to participate in regional and global projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team.
The position may be based in other BSC EMEA offices: Madrid, Milan, Paris, Düsseldorf, Hemel Hempstead (UK), Warsaw.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Total Rewards Analyst desirable/preferable or in a related HR role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in compensation analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service focus
  • Some flexibility to travel when required

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of compensation trends to evaluate competitive position as it relates to the company’s strategy
  • Use job evaluation process to determine job requirements and prepare market data analysis to determine compensation program assignment (pay structures, variable pay.)
  • Advise, educate and coach Human Resources and management on Total Reward programs and systems.
  • Represent Total Rewards and/or serve as project manager on specified initiatives.
  • Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate course of action.
  • Responds to and resolves a variety of escalated compensation and benefits issues.
  • May be responsible for health and welfare programs, capital accumulation, sales compensation, executive compensation and benefits, base pay and incentive plan administration.
