Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Transportation Operations, located in New Brunswick, NJ, Raritan, NJ, or Memphis, TN.
The Senior Analyst, Transportation Operations - MedTech is responsible for US outbound transportation operations for various MedTech Business Units. This includes tactical operations ownership, operational performance reporting and management, supplier management, cost improvements, service improvements, coordination of special movements, and operational & transportation spend data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Responsibilities: Manage shipments from MedTech distribution sites, including outbound freight management, tracking of shipments, issue resolution, new product introductions, key performance indicators/metric performance management, maintaining efficient service for shipper and receiver, issue/event investigation & resolution, and special projects.
- Strategic Transportation Data Analysis: Provide insights and actionable outcomes for operational performance, supplier performance, the transportation budget/spend, cost, and service improvement opportunities.
- Supplier Management: Conduct performance reviews, manage investigations, coordinate special movements/requests, manage data, and coordinate holidays.
- Cost & Service Improvement Projects: Lead the identification, quantification, and implementation of cost and service improvement projects.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Lead the documentation, improvement, and automation of outbound transportation processes.
- Provide transportation insights to projects and input to procurement events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Required:
- A minimum of 4 years of business experience is required, with experience in Deliver, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Experience with SAP.
- Supplier Management experience.
- Transportation knowledge or experience.
- Automation of processes experience.
- Data analytics proficiency to successfully visualize, analyze and interpret data and insights for actionable outcomes.
Preferred:
- Healthcare Industry Proven experience preferred.
- Experience with PBI preferred.
Other:
- Experience working in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Logistics.
- Demonstrated experience with process and cost improvement and challenging the status quo.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving.
- Proven track record to work with internal and external partners to identify, meet, plan and implement business needs, and resolve issues.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $121,900.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. · Please use the following language:
