*This position is based out of our 181 Bay Street office in Toronto, ON with the expectation of 4-5 days in office a week. *
About you
You are seeking an opportunity to be an essential part of a global treasury team, serving as the Senior Treasury Analyst. You have experience in managing a diverse range of treasury activities, including day-to-day cash management, liquidity forecasting, and overseeing the administration of a company’s global equity plan. You also have played a key role in maintaining credit facilities. A significant focus of your work is implementing process improvements to drive efficiencies within the treasury function, ensuring smoother and more streamlined operations across the organization.

In this role, you will…

  • Prepare daily global cash reporting and forecasting, as well as assist in global liquidity optimization strategies
  • Play a key role in the transition and integration of cash management products/platforms
  • Prepare monthly reporting of borrowing base and performance metrics to lender
  • Liaise directly with lender on ad hoc requirements, including refinancing and other negotiations of the facility
  • Work with internal stakeholder globally to strategize and optimize liquidity to reduce cash drag and minimize interest costs
  • Manage the company’s stock option plan, including option grants/exercises, share issuances and compliance reporting
  • Prepare monthly stock-based compensation accounting entries and financial statement note disclosures, including valuation of option grants
  • Prepare and maintain SEDI insider equity ownership & trading reports for the Company’s filing insiders (i.e. officers and directors)

What you’ll bring

  • University degree in Business or Finance related discipline and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation would be an asset
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in a corporate treasury, commercial banking, or related role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, well-versed in the use of functions
  • Exposure to corporate online banking platforms (experience with treasury management applications would be an asset)
  • Solid foundation in accounting
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to identify root causes of problems
  • Proactive in identifying ways to improve and streamline existing processes
