Description:
Job Introduction
Sodexo operates a European Treasury Centre (“ETC”) in Dublin, providing services to a range of regions globally and is now looking to recruit a permanent Senior Treasury Analyst as part of a well-established team
This role would specifically manage the Treasury operations of France, which is an important and high-profile region for Sodexo.
The person would work closely with the local French Finance team, so French language skills are required for this role.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within Treasury or Finance
- French language skills are required (fluency would be advantageous)
- Previous corporate treasury experience desirable
- Degree in business, finance or economics desirable
- Strong TMS experience desirable (ideally Kyriba) plus good IT skills
- Strong focus on best practice procedures and controls
- Strong (internal) customer focus and stakeholder management
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple activities with competing deadlines
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
Responsibilities:
- Daily cash and liquidity management, and treasury closing
- Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, cash-pools, bank and treasury systems
- Bank account management and optimisation of bank costs
- Processing various treasury payments and transfers across a suite of banking systems
- Review and completion of banking and systems documentation
- Executing cash and FX transactions, and supporting bank guarantee requirements
- Reporting and analysis of daily cash position and cash analysis
- Forecast preparation and monitoring
- Execution and monitoring of certain intercompany funding arrangements
- Issue resolution with local Finance and Accounting teams
- Working with auditors on quarterly and year-end audit
- Provide support and back up to other members of the ETC
- Supporting ad-hoc projects as required – including onboarding of new regions to the ETC
- Focus on process improvement and leveraging the Treasury Management System
