GameStop is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team. Working with general supervision, the Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for preparation and presentation of company global cash position and liquidity, variance analysis, and analytical support to the Global Treasury leadership team. This person will also maintain the foreign exchange and global netting program which includes maintaining all intercompany loans. This role requires knowledge of maintaining treasury policies, audit requests, and ensuring departmental compliance with policies. The Senior Treasury Analyst will serve as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues and be in contact with internal and external customers to obtain, clarify or provide facts and information.
This role sits fully on site in Grapevine, TX.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Astute knowledge of all phases of treasury operations, including banking, liquidity management, bank accounts and structure with high level attention to detail.
  • Proficient knowledge of office computer platforms and applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with web-based banking platforms and research tools
  • Ability to initiate and respond to work errors in a professional manner, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
  • Expert ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
  • Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in a fast-phased environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to all GameStop policies, including those related to scheduling and attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and honesty and ethical conduct
  • Understand and accurately follow policies, procedures, and controls
  • Strong team-player with high integrity and an inquisitive nature, instilling a motivation for process improvement and best practices.
  • Comfortable with working extensive hours and weekend to meet periodic deadlines (not frequent but possible)

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from and accredited 4-year college or university in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred; Master of Business Administrator and /or CTP certification a plus
  • At least 3 to 5 years of treasury experience required
  • Experience with financial systems like SAP (or similar ERP), GTreasury (or similar TMS), FCCS, Coupa and Workday a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with online banking platforms and Bloomberg required
  • Cash management and banking experience with a multi-national Fortune 500 Company with retail and multi-unit operations preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions) and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of daily cash position and Global Liquidity report.
  • Responsible for preparation and reporting/presentation of GME’s Corporate foreign exchange program, including working with the International Finance teams on global netting, and working with International Accounting and Tax on intercompany loans.
  • Participate as a member of the Corporate Treasury focused area, providing analysis and reporting for all new and existing projects and ongoing reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for preparation of month end/quarter end closing processes and procedures related to treasury to ensure all accounting reporting deadline are met for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist with debt compliance reporting process and tracking.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with the corporate accounting team with support and journal entries for SAP Identify improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions
  • Implement changes to tighten and enhance controls and mitigate risk; refine and document Treasury processes and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly requirements and payments for Letters of Credit/Guarantees maintenance
